Ontario Fire Company Firefighter Memorial
Honoring OFC's Deceased Members

In December 2006 the Ontario Fire Company unanimously agreed that a monument be erected to serve as the offiicial memorial to pay tribute to the deceased members of the organization.

These firefighters all gave countless hours sacrificing time with family, friends and loved ones to protect the residents of the Town of Ontario and beyond. They all served without asking for anything in return. They were our leaders and mentors. They were the foundation of our organization.

The memorial is located at the current site of the Ontario Fire Company, located on Walter Cone Drive, just off Ridge Road, Ontario. It was placed in front of the fire station making it accessible for all to visit and see.

The memorial was cast of black and gray granite stone.

All deceased members' names were engraved in the granite on either side of the monument, along with a Maltese cross and a memorial statement. Additional names will be added as neccessary.

The sponsership of personalized bricks will allow members, famileies and friends of the fire service to be recognized and become part of the memorial.

Bricks may be personalized to memorialize a friend or family member, to show support of your local volunteers, or serve as a memory of a specific event. The possibilities are endless. Your brick DOES NOT need to specifically pertain to the Ontario Fire Company or the fire service.

Brick sponsorship is limited and will be handled on a first come basis. Don't miss out on your chance to be part of the history, sponsor your brick today!

Thank you for your support,

The Memorial Committee
